Make Your Own Home Brew

Try using these simple substitutes instead of commercial cleaners to help you in house cores.

Surface cleaner: surface stains can be cleansed with a microfiber cloth soaked in vinegar diluted with water. Combat stubborn stains with a paste of baking soda and water.

Window cleaner: old newspaper and water works wonders. You can also spray dirty windows with vinegar and water solution or a soap nut solution. Make this by boiling a few soap nuts in water. Let it cool before use.

Wood polish: add a few tablespoons of lemon juice to a quarter cup of olive oil. Wipe furniture with a cloth soaked in this solution.

Toilet bowl cleaner: pour a cupful of vinegar and a few tablespoons of baking powder into stained toilet bowls. Let it soaked for half an hour, then brushed and flushed.

Hand wash: dilute liquid Castile soap (primarily made with olive oil) with water and pour into a spray bottle. Add a few drops of tea tree oil for antibacterial benefits.

Baking soda is a weak alkaline and can neutralize acidic scents which makes it a great deodorizer.

White vinegar can kill moldy, germs and bacteria due to its high level of acidity, while its remaining non tonic to humans.

My Kitchen

Kitchen Kitchen...

A place where love bloom, bonding nurtured and warm filled. I love my kitchen! This little space created love for me and my hubby.

The glossy black classic finishing on my kitchen cabinet, make me feels my little space modern, classy and a little touch of Zen only find in some modern some up-rise property. The doors and drawers are cushions with Blum. I can now use my "bum" to push the drawers or doors to close without the usual "loud bang" sound. Below are some of the pictures taken of my kitchen.

"Mom, i can see the table in the cabinet"

"Mummy, when are you cooking the grill chicken again with your happy call"

"Mummy, no hand!,How you hooks the knife and pan in the air?" (Ikea Magnet Bar)

Hope you enjoy the views of my kitchen, you can view more at my Flicker. Last but not least, my Kitchen Quotes: "Happiness, Health & Wealth ~ What you think about you bring about"
