The Many Uses Of White Vinegar

Dear Busy Mums,

An exciting weekend of CYN 2012 around the corner, many dishes to be cleaned and washed. Need quick help, use vinegar.

Yes, besides using it for cooking, vinegar is one of the most versatile natural cleaners around. It is a weak acid, so it is great for cutting through grease and lime.
Shiny Sink
How to let your sink shine?
Mix two tablespoons of salt with one teaspoon of white distilled vinegar, pour into the sink and let sit for five minutes before rinsing with hot water.

Can it cleans microwave oven?
Yes, it does. Loosens baked on food and eliminates odours. Mix half cup white distilled vinegar and half cup water in a microwave safe bowl and bring to a boil in microwave. Wipe clean.

It acts like a deodorant. Wipe musty smelling food containers with a cloth dampened with vinegar.

Glass descaler
To remove stains on glassware, spray with undiluted white distilled vinegar. Then run hot water over the glasses and dry with a towel. If glasses are badly stained, soak in vinegar for about 10 minutes  before rinsing.

How to get rid of Ants
Using diluted vinegar in spray bottles, spray along the trail of ants' movement. This can prevent ants from going back to the affect areas.
